Federation for European Storytelling

The Federation for European Storytelling (FEST) is an international network of organisations (99 members in 28 different countries) such as professional storytelling associations, festival organisers, storytelling training centres, academies, colleges, universities, cultural centres, all with a special interest in oral storytelling.
FEST focuses on professional development of the oral storyteller as a performing artist and as an artist using his/her art for tackling social challenges.
FEST also supports the introduction of storytelling techniques in education, in heritage and in community work and as such also focusses on the professional development of teachers, adult educators, community workers and social entrepreneurs.
