Description

This course provides innovative tools for teachers and educational support staff for strengthening critical thinking skills and resilience of students, discussing controversial issues openly. It wants to support the school sector and the professionals working in it to improve their capacity to exploit the potential of new approaches, methodologies and international perspectives, for the prevention of radicalisation through the development of critical thinking and related skills and competences as well as effective practices and knowledge related to the topic.


European Dimension

This course is the result of a European project. The perspectives of different European project partners are included in the course material. The course will provide possibilities to get into contact with people from different European countries and discuss views and approaches.


Tentative Program & Schedule

The training will provide theoretical input as well as practical examples and excercises.

Day 1: Introduction to the topic and exchange among participants

Day 2: The PRACTICE toolbox for teachers, practical try-out and discussion

Day 3: The PRACTICE toolbox for students, practical try out and discussion of implementation


Expected Outcome

-          Understand what contributes to radicalisation prevention

-          Get to know new methods to work on radicalisation prevention

-          Get new ideas and contacts


Certification

You will receive a certificate for participation and a Level 5 competence development certificate.
