Description

This immersive three-day course, a result of the DigiArts project, is designed to empower youth workers with innovative tools and strategies to foster inclusive dialogue and collaboration among young people. Developed under the guiding principles of Restorative Justice and the transformative potential of the Arts, this course addresses five pivotal topics crucial for effective youth engagement: Problems and challenges of digital work, Stereotypes among young people, Conflict resolution and negotiation, Self-performance and empowerment, Engagement and participation. By the end of this course, participants will have gained a comprehensive toolkit for engaging with young individuals in an innovative and inclusive manner, enabling them to drive positive change and promote social cohesion through different forms of art and restorative practices.


European Dimension

This course derives from the DigiArts EU-project, with partners from six european countries, that aims to focus on “interrupted” dialogue and develop a qualitative and effective way for young people and youth workers to exchange in dialogue and cooperation and support each other in an innovative digital way. DigiArts focuses on developing an innovative and creative method for youth workers to foster social inclusion. The project uses Restorative Justice values and Arts to strengthen collaboration and dialogue among European youth.Have a look at https://www.digi-arts.eu/!

Day 1: Introduction to the general approach of the DigiArts project; Topic 1: Problems and challenges of digital work; Topic 2: Stereotypes among young people

Day 2: Topic 3: Conflict resolution and negotiation; Topic 4: Self-performance and empowerment

Day 3: Topic 5: Engagement and participation; Closing Session
