Description

The course introduces Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in adult education and HE contexts, combining entrepreneurship, design-based collaborative learning and research with practical application. 

Methodology

Combination of input sessions, team-based project work, design thinking workshops, collaborative learning formats, and a final conference to validate and disseminate learner and trainer outputs. (194 characters incl. spaces)

George Zarifis – Professor of Continuing Education, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, expert in adult learning methodologies.
Enrica Pautasso – European Project Manager, Smart Revolution, expert in design thinking, DBCL, and innovation in education.
Ugljesa Marjanovic – Professor of Industrial Engineering, University of Novi Sad, head of EdTech Lab, expert in innovation and management.

Expected Outcome

- Understand ESD concepts and their application in adult and higher education
- Acquire competences in entrepreneurship & innovation linked to SD
- Apply Design-Based Collaborative Learning (DBCL) and Research (DBCR)
- Guide and assess learner teams developing prototypes
- Gain experience in joint EU learning & teaching settings


Certification

A certificate of attendance and LEVEL5 Competence Development certificate will be issued upon completion on the course.
