Description
The target audience for this program includes teachers and educational professionals from Erasmus+ countries (28 EU countries, Turkey, Croatia, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Macedonia), as well as employees in kindergartens, trainers, and adult educators. It is ideal for those receiving Erasmus+ grants, including educators, coaches, trainers, therapists, and facilitators working with diverse groups, such as migrants, ethnic minorities, and individuals from various backgrounds.
The program is organized by Tanz der Kulturen e.V., offering tailored training in line with EU priorities. Facilitators include Stephanie Bangoura, a dance pedagogue and gestalt therapist, and Massa Dembele, a musician.
Key focus areas include non-verbal communication, dance in dialogue with live music, voice and body-centered methods, and leading and following. The training emphasizes creative expression, mindfulness, and creating safer spaces, while fostering shared values.
Participants will benefit from increased presence, resilience, self-awareness, and intercultural competencies. The program strengthens personalities, enhances leadership skills, and provides creative tools for team building and social skills.
European Dimension
In this course we work in a protective space created by agreeing on common values like self-determination, mindfulness and confidentiality. Intercultural competences is promoted by different languages who are spoken in the workshop space and the team with international history. Dance is applicated as a non-verbal communication, that's why every day there are some hours without verbal communication to promote more consciousness for inner realities.
