Description
Heritage challenges can be found everywhere with creativity some strategies can be developed to overcome them in a sustainable learning cooperative way. Students are challenged to use design thinking approaches to solve heritage sustainability problems. Students will engage with the region heritage, empathizing with problems by doing some visits. The ideation phase will be developed and there will be time to present the prototypes.
The methodology will be blended learning with a pre-course online phase, to disseminate information about sustainability, innovation and design thinking, followed by the 4 days f2f and then a follow up validation/evaluation phase.
European Dimension
Heritage sustainability issues can be found throughout Europe in several countries and regions, but Heritage also has the potential to connect several regions in Europe it is a way to bring together people from different countries and share common movements and traditions, contributing for a stronger Europe

Pre course online meeting
Day 1: Ice breaking, presentation, course framing
Day 2: Creativity / Design Thinking approach input, challenges, social evening
Day 3: Empathising with the challenge, ideation phase, medieval experience
Day 4: Prototype phase, final presentation, and evaluation
